note: "The trio collaboratively wrote most of the 13 selections. The music mixes Eastern European melodic traditions, cabaret and chamber music sensibilities, small combo jazz, and even a bit of progressive rock. The tunes are rich with character and never much more than three minutes in length. While iconoclastic in its refusal to adhere to any particular existing boundaries, this is very friendly music. Volapnuk make excellent ambassadors for the avant-garde."
