wokół nieziemskiego Omara S aka Villalobo formuje się ostatnio dużo polichlorku winylu, warto nadmienić chociażby epkę "Here's Your Trance Now Dance!",
niestety niespecjalnie łapię się na ten slogan.

night cruise sensations jak to mawiają, ociupinka nostalgii i detroitowego podszycia na modłę... Model 500 - Starlight. Nie tylko dla fanów Omara.
Real nice Motor City/Atlanta House jams from Kai Alce and Omar S, dropping vinyl only-styles on FXHE. Kai has previously appeared on the label with his discofied 'Dirty South Dirt' 7" but these collaborations are structured as more functional DJ tracks.

New release on Detroit label FXHE. First is a happy vocal detroit house cut from MK aka Mark Kinchen, while the second track is an unmistakable Omar-S cut.
note: oceniając przez pryzmat debiutanckiej dla Delsina epki Dehnerta "Before Framework" pełnoprawny długograj "Framework" jest dla mnie nie lada zaskoczeniem, jak najbardziej in plus.
Drawing from a dusty, dirty toolbox of sounds, the echo-y, cavernous chambers and dusky warehouse aesthetics of Dehnert’s moody music betrays the purity and simplicity of his arrangements. Although his records are undeniably functional, at the same time, they are neither nondescript nor forgettable: somehow, through masterful sound designs and an accomplished knack for blending real tension and atmosphere with his obvious Basic Channel and Berghain influences, Mike Dehnert manages to lock you into whatever mood takes his fancy with apparent ease.

There was a buzz in the air right from the off for this show, and Pinch got us all whipped up dropping dub after dub. Added with the fact the last track from this set was so nutty people with alergies were sharply on their phone to a GP, the whole thing became some kind of delicious sundae. Enjoy the flavours yo.
Few labels have shaped recent UK bass music as much as Hotflush. Soon after its conception nearly eight years ago, it became a trendsetting source of dubstep. More recently, following a move from Bristol to Berlin, it's been blurring the genre lines within UK bass (dubstep, funky, drum & bass, etc.) while also weaving in elements of house and techno. Back and 4th collects nine of the label's biggest tracks from the past few years, such as Mount Kimbie's "Sketches on Glass" and Joy Orbison's "Hyph Mango," the latter of which was RA's #1 tune of 2009. It also presents ten exclusive new ones from artists like Roska, Boxcutter and newcomers Sepalcure. The collection is unmixed, and will be available on triple vinyl as well as CD.

note: interesująca wersja stetryczałego brzmienia lat 90's: syntezatorów leniwa słodycz, zabawa w cukierkowe low-fi, okiełznywana zabrudzonymi i rozciągniętymi w czasie, metalicznymi clapami i surowym drumkickiem. mieszanina 'zakadzonego' hh, paranoidalnego chip tune'u i podtrutego, opanowanego zeszłej nocy przez dziki rave - uk garażu, z dodatkiem zagęszczacza.

Rush Hour, the Amsterdam-based label dealing in house and beyond from the likes of FaltyDL, Virgo, Cosmin TRG and Tom Trago, this week releases the debut album by BNJMN.
Hitherto little-known, this young British producer has a very mature and well-honed sound that reminds us of Detroit-inspired UK techno and pre-lapsarian electronica from the early 90s. Plastic World is his first major offering following a couple of low-key single releases, and arose out of demos he sent to Rush Hour over a period of time. The glistening, utopian arpeggios of ‘Blocks’ set the tone: this is meaty, melodic dance music which is naive in spirit but slick in execution.
'Plastic World' is a double disc entry to his adventurous simulation of early '90s UK electronica, rooted in Chicago's more searching, synthetic strains and ready for the more discerning modern jacker.

Rick Poppa Howard - Do What You Have To Do

house
note: produkcja Ricka i Tevo Howarda, klasyczny, minimalistyczny chocago house, głęboka linia basu, przyjemne tło syntezatorowe, prosta melodyjka i świetny wokal.
The beautiful father and son partnership that is Rick Howard and his boy Tevo, have put together another seriously tasty house bomb with Ricks soulful vocal sitting real nice over tevos' chicago house inspired beats. This is a pretty nice follow up to 'I won't lay back' which was also a huge favourite of ours and we're really looking forward to some more from team Howard 'cause these guys are on fire at the moment. This bad boys out on Rush Hour and available on wax and digitally.
note: seksowny, międzygwiezdny house, szmugler surowizny i alfons.
Heavyweight Detroit soul music from Oliverwho Factory, following their triumphant Planet E 12". Like the best of their work 'Galactic Transit' just brims with soulful energy and that untouchable 313 spirit. Whether it's the sincere diva vocals, the upbuilding arrangement or something that we just can't lay our finger on, there's few out there making Detroit House music like this. B-side features the 'Recall Instrumental Mix'.

a. D'Marc Cantu - Set Free
aa. D'Marc Cantu - Tonight
After the 2AM/FM release, next up in the 10'' series on MOS_deep is a solo-project of D'Marc Cantu. D' Marc delivers two surprisingly melodic, sexy and hypnotizing housetracks. "Set Free" opens with a hard-hitting flanged bass-sound and a devastating kick and slowly evolves into a dreamy and atmospheric track full of mystery. "Tonight" is a hypnotic and haunting latenight-dancefloor track, combining long stretched melodic stabs, an ultra-deep bassline and D' Marc's whispering vocals taking you down deep in the uncanny and eery underworld of his soul.
Here Mosse (real name Gunnar Wendel) returns to the excellent Berlin based Workshop imprint, with “Track 1″ hogging the A Side, characterised by a tense mechanical rhythym and a looped up female vocal which remains central to the track as Mosse adds deft analogue tweaks which create a cavernous sonic landscape. The real heat, however, is on the flip; first Mosse takes things unfeasibly deep on “Track 2″ with chords that on first inspection appear to emanate from beneath the speakers, before the EP’s true gem, the all too short “Track 3″, brings the EP to a bruising finale with scorched kick drums juxtaposed against a gently undulating synth progression.
